Ballet vs Beatbox: When classic meets hip-hop

maxresdefault

Get into our latest video which sees the worlds of ballet and hip-hop collide in a very exciting way. DOT MOVE’s motto being « Move no matter what » we thought it would be interesting to make two sides of the dance world – which are considered polar opposites – meet, and go from there. At a time when there are talks about Hip-Hop dancing academic degrees and when the classical ballet field is being criticized for its alleged elitism, we wanted to illustrate that dance isn’t solely best practiced in between four walls, that it should always be generous and also stress just how beautiful the fusion of genres can be.
