The Prix de Lausanne is an international competition for young dancers, open to young talents of all nationalities aged 14 to 19 who are not yet professionals.

Canadian-Chinese dancer Patricia Zhou is leaving the Staatsballett Berlin after five years. During that time, she has performed in nearly all the performances with the company. She will continue her career with the LADP.
French dancer and soloist Kevin Pouzou is leaving the Staatsballett after 10 years.
As part of the 45th edition, the Prix de Lausanne wished to honour the work of the choreographer John Neumeier. All of the contemporary variations offered to the students this year are exclusively his creations.
For our many years of collaboration and his devotion to the education of young dancers, the Prix de Lausanne has the great pleasure to offer him a « Lifetime Achievement Award ».
